TravolGo connector for Claude
Search hotels, check live rates and prepare client quotes from inside Claude, using your agency's own TravolGo prices.
What it does
The TravolGo connector links Claude to TravolGo's hotel inventory (more than 1,000,000 hotels worldwide). Once connected, you can ask Claude in plain language to:
- find hotels in a city, area, or near a landmark such as the Haram in Makkah
- compare hotels across several cities at once
- check the current live rate for a specific room and meal plan
- turn a confirmed rate into a client-ready quote
- quote a multi-city trip in one go
- get a pre-filled link to the TravolGo portal to complete the booking
Prices are your agency's own TravolGo prices, in UAE dirhams (AED). Claude can show an indicative conversion into another currency next to the AED price.
Who it is for
Travel agencies with an approved TravolGo agency account. It is a business tool for agency staff, not for travellers.
Before you connect
You need:
- A Claude account that can use connectors (see Anthropic's help centre for the plans that include them).
- An approved TravolGo agency account.
- Your WhatsApp number registered on that agency account. This is the number we send your sign-in code to. If you are not sure which number is registered, ask your TravolGo account manager.
How to connect
From the Claude directory
- In Claude, open Customize > Connectors (or Settings > Connectors).
- Search for TravolGo and select Connect.
- Sign in as described below.
As a custom connector (if you cannot find it in the directory)
- In Claude, open Customize > Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- Enter the URL
https://mcp.travolgo.com/mcp. Leave the client ID and secret empty. - Select Add, then Connect, and sign in as described below.
On Team and Enterprise plans an organization Owner may need to add the connector first.
Signing in with WhatsApp
- Claude opens a TravolGo sign-in page.
- Enter your WhatsApp number with the country code, for example
+971 50 123 4567. - If the number belongs to an approved TravolGo agency, you receive a 6-digit code on WhatsApp from TravolGo. For privacy, the page shows the same message whether or not the number is registered.
- Enter the code. It is valid for 10 minutes and you have 3 attempts.
- Check the consent screen. It shows your agency's name and that the request comes from Claude (claude.ai). Select Allow.
- You are returned to Claude and can start asking.
Your session is tied to your agency. Every price you see is your agency's own price, and nobody else can see it.
What you can ask: the tools
Claude chooses the right tool for you. You do not need to name them. The table is here so you know what the connector can do.

Example workflows
1. Find and compare hotels
"I need a 4-star hotel near the Haram in Makkah for 12 to 15 May, 2 adults and 1 child aged 7, Indian nationality. Show me the 5 closest."
Claude resolves Makkah, searches with the Haram as the landmark, and lists hotels with distance, walking time and price.
2. Two cities in one trip
"Madinah 8 to 10 Sept, then Makkah 10 to 13 Sept, 2 adults, UAE nationals, 5-star."
Claude searches both stays in one go and shows them in your order, as an itinerary.
3. Confirm a price and quote it
"Take the second hotel. Deluxe room with breakfast. Confirm the price and write me a client quote with 10% markup."
Claude refreshes and confirms the live rate for that exact room, applies your markup, and writes a quote with the confirmed cancellation terms.
4. Hand off to the portal
"Great, give me the link to book it on TravolGo."
Claude creates a portal link with the hotel, dates and guests filled in. Sign in to the portal and complete the booking there.
5. Budget in another currency
"Hotels in Dubai Downtown under GBP 400 a night for 4 nights, 2 adults."
The connector converts your budget to AED at a dated rate before filtering. Prices stay in AED, with a GBP figure alongside if you ask.
6. Quick look before you have dates
"What kind of hotels do you have in Baku?"
Claude shows a preview with photos and star ratings but no prices, then asks for your dates.
What it cannot do
- No booking or payment inside Claude. You complete bookings on the TravolGo portal.
- No booking vouchers or booking history. Voucher lookup is available only in the TravolGo WhatsApp assistant, not in Claude.
- No traveller details. The connector does not take guest names, passports or payment details. Do not include them in your requests.
- Prices are in AED. Converted amounts are indicative only; your client is charged in AED on the portal.
- Search prices are a snapshot. Only a rate confirmed with a live check should be quoted to a client. Claude will confirm the rate before it writes a quote.
- Only your agency's inventory. You see hotels and prices available to your agency; another agency may see different ones.
Managing access
- Disconnect: in Claude, open Customize > Connectors, choose TravolGo and select Disconnect.
- Signed out unexpectedly: sessions can end after a server update. Reconnect and sign in again with a new code.
- Remove a colleague's access: ask your TravolGo account manager to remove their WhatsApp number from your agency account. Their Claude access stops at its next sign-in check.
Troubleshooting
I did not receive a code. Check that you entered the WhatsApp number registered on your agency account, with the country code, and that WhatsApp is working on that phone. You can request a new code up to 3 times an hour. If it still does not arrive, your number may not be registered or your agency may not be approved yet: contact support.
The code was rejected. Codes expire after 10 minutes and allow 3 attempts. Request a new one.
No hotels came back. Try wider dates, fewer filters, or the whole city instead of an area. Some destinations have little availability on certain dates.
"Rate not available" or "room unavailable" when confirming. Live rates change quickly. Ask Claude to check the hotel again or to show other rooms at the same hotel.
The portal link does not open my search. Portal links are short-lived (about 45 minutes). Ask Claude for a fresh link, and make sure you are signed in to the TravolGo portal.
Claude says the connector is unavailable. Try again in a minute. If it continues, contact support with the time and what you asked.
Security and privacy
- Each sign-in is tied to one approved agency. You only ever see your own agency's prices.
- Claude only sends us the details needed for each request. We never see your wider Claude conversation.
- Phone numbers are removed from our server logs automatically.
